About HCW

 HCW 's function is, through a low monthly public contribution, to provide contributors with the peace of mind that in the event of an incident or emergency, they can phone the control room for an Armed Response, 24/7. At the same time HCW provides pro-active patrols to prevent criminal activities, thus making our streets and neighbourhoods safer.  Helderberg Community Policing is a registered Section 21 Company (operating without profit or financial gain) which trades as Helderberg Crime Watch (HCW). 

Helderberg Community Policing NPC has now been registered as a Public Benefit Organisation by SARS in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. Any donations given are tax deductible by the donor, up to 10% of taxable income. 

At HCW we have 15 neighbourhood watches all over the Helderberg region who uses the HCW Operation Center. 

With these NHW's under the HCW wing, it allows for your neighbours to help us keep your streets and home safe. 

All the neighbourhood watch members have direct radio communication with the HCW Responders and Operation Center

HCW is part of the Strand and Somerset West CPF (Community Police Forum)

This allows us to work in conjunction with SAPS and Law Enforcement agencies to keep the area safe and have joint opperations. 

Due to the services we offer, HCW is required by law to be registered with the Private Security Industry Regulations Act (PSIRA) and this allows us to fall under the Helderberg Security Group. 

HCW does not do alarm monitoring or installation there-of, but our Security Partners are our preferred providers. HCW delivers a service like no other company does, ensuring your safety with a wide variety of emergency and life-threatening services.
